About Us
Building discipline, confidence, emotional regulation, and positive decision-making skills.
Foundation Overview
The Lennox Lewis League of Champions Foundation empowers young people through sport-based youth development programs that combine boxing, mentorship, and life-skills education. Grounded in social work principles and positive youth development practices, the foundation intentionally uses sport as a structured environment to support behavioral growth, emotional regulation, and identity development.
Our work is grounded in the belief that structured mentorship and discipline can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
Through the Knights in the Ring™ Initiative, young people participate in programs that intentionally integrate mentorship, life-skills training, and structured physical activity to build discipline, confidence, leadership, and resilience. These programs create safe and supportive spaces where youth develop healthy coping skills, strengthen decision-making abilities, and practice the discipline and emotional regulation needed to navigate challenges both inside and outside the gym.
Boxing provides a powerful framework for teaching discipline, emotional control, accountability, and perseverance qualities that translate directly into healthier decision-making and stronger life outcomes.

Meet the Founders — Lennox & Violet Lewis
Lennox & Violet Lewis founded the League of Champions Foundation with a clear vision: to use boxing as a tool to transform the lives of underserved and at-risk youth. Rooted in discipline, life skills, and compassion, their programs create safe, structured spaces during times when young people are most vulnerable—such as school breaks and holidays. What began as an idea has grown into impactful programming across Jamaica and Canada, including free summer boxing camps, nutrition support, and the establishment of a dedicated training gym. For over eight years, their work has provided youth with mentorship, community, and opportunity—helping them build confidence, stay engaged, and redefine their futures. With continued support, they remain committed to expanding this mission and shaping the next generation of champions—both in sport and in life.
