Our Knights in the Ring Initiative addresses the urgent needs of at-risk youth who often lack access to positive summer camps and after-school programs that ensure safety and learning during periods when they are most susceptible to victimization. By fusing boxing with essential life skills training, we equip these young individuals with conflict resolution strategies, critical thinking strategies, and strong communication skills, empowering them to make better decisions and uplift their communities.
Since launching our camps in Hanover, we’ve witnessed remarkable changes in behavior and academic performance among participants, particularly those who return for multiple sessions.
Each year, we host a variety of free summer camps for at-risk youth, with our most notable offering being a transformative week-long youth boxing camp. This camp not only instills discipline, life-skills and self-confidence in our participants but also features world-class coaches and WBC champions, including Ronald “Winky” Wright, Hasim “Rock” Rahman, Alicia “Slick” Ashley, Bryant Jennings, and James Ali Bashir, providing an unparalleled training experience.
